.: Where has time gone?

January means Mid Winter Rally. February and March are District Conventions. Remember our district convention is February 25 & 26, 2011 in Lawrence. It is not too early to get your registration and reservations in. June is state convention, and July is International convention.

.: Leadership Training Sessions

Workshops for club presidents, vice presidents, secretaries and treasurers will take place on Thursday evening, November 18 at 6:45. They will be held at the Sweet Life, 12000 Lamar Avenue in Overland Park. Light refreshments will be served. Club officers from anywhere in the district are invited to attend on November 18, but another workshop more suitable for officers in the northern part of the district is being planned for December 9. Details will be announced later.

.: Zone Meetings

Dec 2 – Region 3 joint zone meeting. Will be held at Lamont Hills Restaurant in Vassar at 6:30 p.m. Contact Tom Badger or Gary Adkins for details.

.: Cabinet Meetings

3rd Cabinet Meeting - February 5 - Power Play in Shawnee
District Convention - February 25-26 - Holidome in Lawrence
4th Cabinet Meeting/Social - June 18 - Tentatively at Shawnee Mission Park

For the zone chairs - Please try to schedule your zone meetings within two weeks after the cabinet meeting. Having these dates in advance should give you plenty of time to find a time and place for your meetings. The sooner we can get them on people's calendars, the more people we will hopefully have attend.

Dec 3, 2010 Lyndon Spaghetti Supper 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Lyndon High School Cafeteria $4.00 all you can eat, students $2.50 and children under 5 eat free. Pie is $1.50.
